I have just installed external 80G HD and wondering if/how I can do a backup
of my XP Home Edition system and main HD similar to the old Mirror feature.
Appreciate any advise.

You will need third party software. Common programs for doing this are
BootIt NG, Acronis TrueImage, Norton Ghost but there are others. Personally
I use Acronis TrueImage. You can schedule it to do incremental backups and
you can boot from it's CD, easily access an external drive and load the
image back to your main drives. No muss no fuss.

Good price. Remember to do an integrity check on your image file after it is
created to ensure it is in good shape.
