I have Windows XP SP2. In the tasks column on the lefthand side of My
Pictures folder there used to be a "copy to disk" link. This seems to have
disappeared, could someone please advise what may have happened and how to
get this back if possible.

Check to make sure that you CDRW drive is enabled.
Right click on your CDRW drive, select Properties, Recording tab, Enable.

If that is correct, you could try:-
1. Click on Start
2. Click on Run
3. Type the following in the textbox: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
(Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...)
4. Press Enter.

Thanks for that. Enabling the drive solved the problem.
