Does anyone have some comments regarding the Windows Spyware Beta download.
I wanted to get some feedback before downloading. I want to get the good and
bad side to help me to decide. Thank you in advance.

lots of people got it and it works fine for them, i got it and my system
went crazy, took me a while to figure out it was the beta, i deleted it and
my system went back to normal, i forgot what the error message was, something
about another user not logging off

You mean Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Remember it is Beta.
Many have used it and are quite happy with it.
If you are interested, you should visit the Microsoft AntiSpyware newsgroups
for the latest information:

I haven't found the bad side of it. (If any.)

You can try it. ;-)

I have been using MSAS (Microsoft ANTIspyware) since it was released to the
public. There are a number of issues that bother some people but others
understand it's in beta mode and can live with it's idiosyncrasies. If you
don't know about beta products then you might find if frustrating. However,
when it works right, it works very well and is worth the learning curve.
It's a great product and will be a lifesaver when it finally is finished.
The expiry of July 31 will probably be extended according to a person in the
know at MS. Check out the newsgroups that Jupiter Jones mentioned and spend
some time learning about the program before you use it.

If you start using MSAS and find issues, the newsgroups probably have
already published fixes, so read them extensively as there are questions
that are raised multiple times each and every day and get answered (with or
without patience) each and every time. After these many months of public
testing, there are few unanswered issues left.

It's great! It's on 2 computers at home and many boxes at the office without
a glitch. It's great for prevention and awsome for cleanup. A user's PC was
so infected, he couldn't do anything with it. I downloaded it, executed it;
It's been clean ever since. And it updates itself. I highly recommend it.
