I forget how to make newly installed programs not come up highlighted also
how to make your control panel display as a menu can someone please help me

Toolbar | Properties | Start Menu | Customize | Advanced
Remove check from the appropriate box.

Hi,
Right click the taskbar, choose properties. On the Start Menu tab, click
customize and change the options on the advanced tab. You will find the
Control Panel option to expand as a menu here as well.
