Hi everyone,
recently i noticed that when i want to sign in into my msn messenger, it
says that i am being signed out as i have been signed in at another location!
I have never given out my password to anyone, not written anywhere,.is this
means someone somehow got my password and using my account?i guess i can
change my password, that is no problem.I am just real stunned each time i
want to sign in, it says i am signed in elswhere?Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot

Both of you need to check that you dont have Windows Messenger AND MSN
messenger running - if you do its possible one is logging out the other.

You will find that if you have a .NET passport set up, they will both try to
log in it automatically. Note Windows Messenger tries to launch at startup
and outlook express load.

Hi guys,Thank you for your response.
Mark, i am aware of windows messenger, but in my opinion it is not the case,
as confused noted, it will ask you to sign out of msn mess, to sign in the
other one.
I have also noted, that if i manage to sign in, i cannot sign out of
net.passport.i recently received 2 automated response as well to change my
password!i have changed my secret question and answer, but left the password
intact to see what happens.

hi Mark,
another post from me.After reading your message, i tried what you suggested.
Well mistery is solved.I normally leave my computer on,hardly ever log off.
So it workes out, that as you said, windows messenger will log on, but only
after if the computer was shut down.If i just sign out,or restart than msn
messenger will log on.
-- Hope this will give answers to all who faced the same mistery.
Thanks again
