Thanks for all your advice, but i'm still having the same problem, is there
any reasonwhy i would be having this problem, i.e. other programs installed
or settings?

Could some permissions might have changed on a particular Service?
Maybe a key in the registry was not updated properly? Have you
messed with any Permissions anywhere?

One of the best places to start might be to look at the Event logs and
see if anything is popping up in there.
