Hi all,

Where I work, we have a few administrators.
Due to security policies, we each have our own user-id for each system (as
you do). Would like to know if there are any scripts out there that will
allow each of the admins to update their passwords across each of the said
servers.
We'd like to not have to go through each server one at a time if there was
an automated way around it.

Cheers,
Cameron

I think you need to give us some more info:
- What do you mean by system? Windows servers? Version?
- Isn't your servers organized in a domain? Why not domain-accounts?

The scripts you're looking for. Do you want them to change the password
for a local user account on the remote systems? In that case, I'll be more
than glad to help.

Hi Emil,
Thank for the reply.
The systems I speak of are Windows 2000/2003 servers.
We don't have our systems set up under domains due to an administrative
reason that I'm not entirely aware of, but I think it is due to a lack of
experience with Active Directory - but I'm hoping to turn that about in the
future.

For example, I hav admin rights on all servers that we have. I'd like to be
able to run a script that updates my password on all of these remote systems.
I currently connect to these via the `Remote Desktop Connection`.

Currently some of the admin's have set their password to "Not Expire", which
is not ideal and they have done this due to the number of systems that they'd
have to update manually.

Any assistance is gratefully appreciated.
