Can anyone recommend a good Ip Scanner? I would like to find out which
IP's are being used.

Also, can anyone recommend a good, perhaps free, e-mail encryption
software to work with Outlook or Exchange?

Superscan 4 from Foundstone works very well and is free as shown at the link
below. If you need email encryption for a user domain you can create your
own Certificate Authority to issue certificates for email encryption or
signing but only members of the Active Directory domain will trust the
internal CA. Beyond that I have no recommendation other than looking into
PGP. --- Steve
