I've got a zombie computer and I don't really care that it is compromised
except that I hate spam and it eats up the connection and everything slows to
a crawl. He's using fake copies of svchost and I don't know how to get rid
of it. I'd love to know if you have any ideas - it has seriously been years
of this (it's my dad's computer, not mine) and it's ridiculous and dumb. I'd
like to get back at the guy a little as well as kick him off the system. It
can't be that sophisticated a virus because I even figured it out and I don't
know anything!

You should worry if you are using a Zombie computer IMHO
For example, suppose it's used to carry out an illegal act, how are you
going to prove it wasn't you?

I reckon that saying you don't mind if your computer is a Zombie is like
saying that you don't mind the tramp who eats out of your fridge :-)

Once a computer is compromised , its not your machine any more. You cannot
clean this system now, please rebuilt because bad guys are using your system
as zombie and might use it to attack someone.

Thnx
