I have always had success using the signcode.exe tool available at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2b742795-d0f0-
4a66-b27f-22a95fcd3425&displaylang=en as codesigningx86.exe


I have signed large executables, etc. with this tool. Just make sure
that you acquire a Code Signing certificate from a CA that chains to a
trusted root by all that will validate the signature.
