Win XP Pro SP2.

On my screen I have this message:

"A fatal error in IE has occured at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD VMM<01> +
00010E36. Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.HRML.Smitfraud.c
System cannot function in normal mode.
Please check you security settings.
Scan your PC with any available antivirus / spyware remover program to fix
this problem"

I am not sure about this message (spelling/grammar is not good English) but
what does all this mean and how do I get rid of this "problem"

Thanks

The "warning" is just an image file on your desktop. Here's a link from
bleepingcomputer.com to complete instructions for removing Smitfraud:

Thanks Sir George and Malke.
Think I got rid of it - I did note that it placed about 6 folders in my
favorites list.
