company: antivirus-gold.com
Product: AntiVirus Gold

This is one of many rouge products out there that do the complete opposite
of what they say they will do! Don't believe me? Check out this page:
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#products and read about
this product and more! This maybe old news, but I just thought someone out
there might not know and maybe this will help them!

We can hope that it does warn them but chances are by the time it does so it
will be too late. I'm not entirely sure what makes people download and
install stuff that they've not researched or at least have a decent
reputation, what makes me even more curious is why they would do so when
they're either dependant on their PC or they don't know a great deal about
it. Just seems a bit odd to me really...

I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I think newsgroups are great! I
mean information is free! How you use it is up to each individual. One can
never go wrong learning as much as they can! I learn a lot from N.G.'s !
