I am trying to configure a Windows XP computer in a non-domain environment to
get updates from a SUS server. I have the SUS server configured. The
instructions from Microsoft says to add registry keys to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\. I have
all of the proper keys that I want configured that they recommend.
However, I also see a key with existing Automatic Update settings at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate.
I am not getting updates from the SUS Server. Any recommendations on how to
properly configure registry keys? Do I need to modify the keys at
\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\...?
