The "Get Help and Support" link on the the updates page leads to a
a page with methods on how to get help. The first one in the list is
a link to get help from peers, (via this newsgroup) but the link is
broken, the web interface says the group was not found.
Does somebody know the right person to contact to get that fixed?

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsupdate&cat=en_US_56d1dd45-de9e-4fc5-9bc1-2d1d0de6daee&lang=en&cr=US
Yup. Just strip off that &cat= variable. Actually all you need is the
dg= term.

Look again more carefully or use View Source. <eg>
Exactly that link is there on the specific page that you are (finally) reporting.
It is labeled there: Request technical support.
Once you go there you can follow the same path that I took from the
equivalent link on my page.
BTW the problem link you're reporting redirects to the same bad link
that I gave a workaround for. (i.e. delete the &cat= term)
