Hello Everyone,

I use Windows XP Home, with SP2, OE6, IE,
and dial-up Internet Service.

Since my last Microsoft Security Updates about two weeks ago,
I cannot download messages from one of my Newsgroup
Account. I can log on to this NG. and all other Microsoft NG's,
with no problem.

Any suggestion for a Fix is Welcome,

Have you tried resetting the newsgroups you are having trouble with?
(Right-click, Properties, Local File, Reset)


BTW posting in here about new symptoms after an update has been
successfully installed is a bit like chasing after a delivery driver to complain
about problems with a new appliance. <eg>

The OE6 newsgroup is the most appropriate place to deal with this issue
if you need more help.

Hi Robert,

I did reset my two NG's. as per Your advice.

I have problem with. The "24hourhelpd.." a text NG.
It will download Posts up to a certain time. On certain days
no download at all.
The "alt.binaries.humor.skewed...." is totally dead, it won't
syncronize it shows 0 messages.

I am going to Post on Ms. OE NG.
