When I try to migrate our SUS (1.0 SP1) to the new WSUS server the log file
reports "2005-06-24T06:41:01Z Error: Could not connect to the specified SUS
1.0 server".

The SUS and the WSUS are on different server, SUS (Windows 2000 SP4) WSUS
Windows Server 2003 and both members of the same domain.

I used the following command: "wsusutil.exe migratesus /content
\\winsrv006\content\cabs /approvals winsrv006 /log remote_migration.log"

winsrv006 is the name of the SUS Server, the share \\winsrv006\content\cabs
exists...

Now my question, what do I wrong?

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services
(OE client)
or
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services

the WSUS newsgroup...
