I have installed WSUS according to microsoft instructions - but it reports no
client computers - I have looked at GPO - seems ok , and run the wuauclt
/detectnow , but no go - anyone help please

Perhaps try the WSUS Newsgroup
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services
(OE client)
or
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services
(web client)
