I installed the new services yesterday and everything seemed to work fine.
But today I can't access the admin web page. When I try I get the following
message:

Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is
currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser
to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific
request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server.
Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

Below is error message that appears repeatedly in the application event log.
I checked the Microsoft knowledge base for event 1084, and it says the
problem is Application Center cluster and the solution is removing .Net from
a member server. Well we don't have Application Center cluster or member
servers that I know about.
