Hi,
I've been getting exactly the same problem with Panda anti-virus. I
de-installed Panda and suddenly my auto updates were working again. I've
switched over to Nod32 anti-virus and that doesn't seem to have the same
problem. The problem seems to have originally started after installing
KB842773.
