Automatic update ran last night and now my internet service is very slow.
How do I uninstall whatever Bill installed on my computer last night.

I had that when the update installed the Agere Modem systems update. I tried
it twice and each time it had the same affect.
One of the good things about the ntl gearbox is that it shows the quality of
the link....after downloading the update over 30 mins online i had about 20
crc errors, 1 alignments error and 1 buffer error. All these errors make the
link appear slower.

If you have XP go back to an earlier restore point. Mine does automatic
restores every day.
