RE: 0x8DDD0002 Error

I've had the exact same problem. Read all of thesuggested fixes. Nothing
seems to work. I agree that V5 of the Windows Update caused the problem. All
worked fine until it was instaqlled. Go Figure. And MS is not any help either.

Did you "hide" Windows' system folder? or sub-folders? Restrict access to some volumes?
Or perhaps you are running some super-agressive security program?
