with the new list of updates, i have as normal got my auto update set to
inform me but do not download til i say so.

I have just tried to download many of the new updates. i select them as
normal. press "download", the dialup modem i use flickers send/recieve lights
briefly and then does nothing else. I am sure before it would start to
download the selected items immediately while there was nothing else going
on. (i also set yo autoupdate completely but still no noticable activity)

the updates WILL download via the manual update page, tho they do appear to
be in the wrong place. NOT in express critical where i would normall see
them, but in custom/optional.

obviously judging by the posts there are problems with this set, but has
anyone else experienced the same as me?
