Get rid of it..
If you cannot control it - then you cannot use it properly either.
Or - you could ask their support/look through their help and configuration
options.

Limeware claim their product is free of adware/spyware but it wouldn't hurt
to run a scan with good tools.
Take a look at...
Start -> run -> "msconfig" -> startup tab
to see if there is an entry there that's causing it to load automatically.

Considering that the purpose of Limewire is to facilitate the theft of and
the illegal transfer of software and other intellectual property, I think
you are getting off easy.
Why don't you simply do the right thing and dump Limewire and buy the
software you want. That way you'll stop causing the rest of us to pay
higher prices for the software that we *BUY* legally.
I think that it should be a policy on these open newsgroups not to answer
questions about programs or software whose only purpose is to aid and abet
thieves.
And please don't post back with some condescending drivel about "I don't use
it to steal...". You, and everyone else who uses P2P software, use it to
steal something that you did not pay for, to acquire something that is not
yours.
If I have offended you in this post, then so be it. The fact that you can
so openly as for assistance in taking things that are not rightfully yours
is offensive to those of us that still have
moral values and a conscience.
I personally hope that you get a worm that destroys all the data on your
drive. Perhaps that will
help to convince you to not steal.

Check the windows XP firewall, as limewire shuts it off. After the
firewall is activated limewire will not keep starting up. Also
download and install the beta version of Microsoft anti-spyware if
using windows 2000 or XP. Goodluck,
