XP machine creates and logs onto wrong domain

We have a small business network, and one of our XP machines must be set up
wrong. Instead of logging onto the main network, it creates a new one
"MSHOME." I've tried to change the name through the Network setup Wizard,
but it always changes back! Any help much appreciated.

Try moving it to a workgroup called "workgroup". If successful then move it
from the workgroup to your domain.

Hi,

Change it on the "Computer Name" tab of System properties instead. Use the
"change" button while logged in with an administrator account. You will need
to reboot.
