Everyday, Windows update downloads the same file. It seems to not know it is
already done. Can you help me??

Sorry I can't help, but if misery loves company, I'm having the same problem.
It's an update for Windows Media Player Script Commands (KB828026). Is that
the one you're getting? It wants to update sometimes everyday and sometimes
it skips a day or two, but it's really getting annoying. Maybe someone else
can help us.

Gary,
I should have known to do this, but do a search on "KB828026" or any other
update and you will get many results with suggestions and fixes for this
problem. Look for a fix that specifies it's for your version of Windows (XP,
Me, or whatever). It seems many people are having this problem. Good luck.
