Hello,

I've tried updating the Windows Installer 3.1 as directed by my automatic
updates.
It fails with error code 80070005.
It says to try the install the update again, which I have , or ask here for
help...

What do I do now ???

Updates from the Windows Update Web site are not installed and an "Error
0x80070005: Access is denied" error message is logged to the Windows
Update.log file.

errors 0x80070005 and 0x80080005.
