Re: Can't get updates at all

I tried this and when I try to stop wuauserv, it says it cant stop the
service. Now what?

Hi Darby,

Open a command prompt window, and key in (or copy/paste):
rd /q /s "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader"
hit ENTER
Restart your computer, then try the Windows Update site.
