Default MAPI store?
Hello, Trying to export my email messages to a new identity. I get the error
message that the 'wizard' could not complete the process because...."The
default MAPI store could not be opened" I tried searching the archives on
MAPI and default MAPI and came up empty. Can someone tell me what the store
hours are and how to open it so I can send my messages over?
Thanks
Catt

Exporting is only for exporting to Outlook (different program) or
Exchange. Either of which have to be installed for the export to work.

You can't export TO a new identity (as Kath explained), but you can Import
in a new identity.

Thank you for that important bit of info. I went to the new identity and used
the import command. It worked perfectly! Now I can delete the identity that
I was having a problem with.
Thank you very much

Thanks Kath but after reading Frank Saunders' reply I went to the new
