Okay, I can't take it any longer!! (It's been years now.)

I have MANY email accounts in OE, and regularly send mail from each:

Without recreating or renaming these many accounts, how can I cause the
FROM: dropdown list, of the new message window, to sort alphabetically? It
sorts thusly in the Internet Accounts window (via Tools | Accounts), but
appears to sort in the order in which the account was created, in the FROM:
dropdown list. Points off for consistency, Microsoft.

I am comfortable editing behind-the-scenes files, if required.
