mass address change

Hello,
I have several addresses in my contacts which have all had their domain changed (eg. from @1.whatever to @2.else). Because the new domain would be the same for all addresses effected, would it be possible to change them all with some global edit?

Hi Bob,
All entries could be exported as a comma-separated values file and then
opened in Word or WordPad to make the substitutions. You'd want to remove
the entries in the address book either by moving them to a stand alone
address book file (as a backup) or deleting before importing the edited
entries.

Hello Tim,
Thanks for your suggestion. I used that method. I see that my address book is now 6 times as big a file as it was before the change, with the same number of entries. It went from 345KB to 1911KB. Any idea why and how to reduce it?

Hi Bob,
I don't know what caused the size to increase dramatically. Did you import
entries into an empty book? The address book could be renamed keeping the
same extension (.wab). A new default book will be created when Outlook
Express starts. Then import entries from the renamed WAB file. Sorry I don't
have a definitive answer.

Yes, I did import the entries into an empty book. I'll try your suggestion below.
I tried that and it reduced it to 888KB from 1911KB, but that is still over twice as big as the 345KB before I changed those 20-40 addresses.
Any other ideas or where to go to get more ideas? If it is too much trouble I will just leave it. Just thought there might be something easy.
