Urgent: Picture Header and Footer in each outgoing email. How?
I want to attach some picture header and footer with hyperlink in each
outgoing email (like header and footer in Word). How can I do that?
Urgent for this situation! If anyone has solutions, mail me. Thanks in
advance!

You can compose a signature with OE and Notepad.
Create your signature in an OE mail composition window.
View, check Source Edit.
Click on the Source tab.
Highlight and copy the source code.
Paste the code into Notepad.
Save As "signature.htm". Include the quotes. Change signature to your
chose of a name.
Use signature.htm for your signature file.

Hi Ron Sommer,
Thanks for your quick answer but this is not my requirement.
I want to put a banner (picture) in the top of the email and a banner in the
bottom. I can make the signature well.
Some one have any idea?

You can create an HTML file to use as stationery and then compose with that
file. Or you can just use Insert | Text from file and designate that file
after you have composed it.

That is exactly your requirement.
You want a html file with your header and footer.
Create the file and use as the file for a signature or use the file for
stationery.
Either way, you will get the same code. It is just a different way of
inserting the code.

With signature: I think I cannot add a picture in it (even if I create a
..htm file with some pix but Outlook Express cannot display the picture in
it)
With Stationery: always has a blank line first. So I must delete this first
line and click to the line under the picture that I made as header, for
writing the email (If you design both header and footer into a background
picture, your first line can be typed in front of the header picture, so
that's not good). If your picture header is called with <IMG> tag so that
you cannot reply other emails with your picture header and footer. This is
my problem. So that I want to seek for another solution like Header and
footer in Microsoft Word, so I don't need to care about the header and
footer when I use email, even if it's a new mail or replied mail.

To put an image in a signature you have to make sure you use the full path
of the image in the IMG src.
<HTML>
<BODY>
<IMG src="file://c:\myimages\myimage.jpg">
<DIV> Here is some text</DIV>
</BODY>
</HTML>
If you edit that and then use Insert Text from file or designate that file
as a signature, then the image will work fine, if its correctly referenced.

You can add pictures to htm signatures.
I created three signatures, text, header, and footer.
I could have a fourth, header and footer.
I also have Insert Signature on my Toolbar.
When I have the cursor in the message composition area, I can click on the
arrow of the Insert Signature icon and choose any signature.
If your header is just a picture, the html code only needs:
<HTML>
<BODY>
<IMG src="file://c:\myimages\myimage.jpg">
</BODY>
</HTML>
Copy and paste the code into Notepad.
Locate the picture file that you want to use and replace
c:\myimages\myimage.jpg
with your picture file location.
I would </BR> to make a blank line.
For the header:
<HTML>
<BODY>
<IMG src="file://c:\myimages\myimage.jpg">
</BR>
</BODY>
</HTML>
For the footer:
<HTML>
<BODY>
</BR>
<IMG src="file://c:\myimages\myimage.jpg">
</BODY>
</HTML>

You quoted my previous code example, but adding </BR> corrupts it.
<BR> is an HTML element that has no closing tag:
