Help request to anyone out there (we'll see if htis posts),

Using OE with Win98 and has been running fine forever, but today I am
receiving mail ok but getting error messages when I try to send anything.
Right now I've just got a bunch of messages in my outgoing folder that have
no place to go!

When I send, it takes some time and then I get an error message as follows:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'My SBC Yahoo! Email', Server:
'smtp.prodigy.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0F.

All setting appear to be correct so I'm not sure what to do from here.

Thanks,
Bob iin RSM

Error 0x800ccc0d or 0x800ccc0f or 0x800ccc19 when Receiving or Sending
E-Mail
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813514

Turn off the e-mail scanning in your anti-virus.

You are still protected:

If you have an Anti-Spam program, that can also be the cause of the error.
