I have writt5en about 5 messages to this group about loss of the internet.
The browsers didn't work when the email worked. I tried for quite a while to
find out what the problem was and found that there is a conflict between
Symatec's programs (Norton System Works or Norton Security} and Zone alarm.
If you try to use both of these programs at the same time Zone Alarm will
block the internet browsers and not allow any thing to come through..

I want to thank all of you who offered advice. This post is for your
information so MVP's or others can help. I noticed other posts similar and I
wonder if this might be the problem. Zone Alarm is a very good firewall and
if used by itself it works just fine. The people who make ZA also market
Easy Armor which is ZA combined with an antivirus
