How to import a single .dbx folder
Help Needed

Last night after doing a "Compact All Folders," l lost some folder on the
left display pane. For example, I have a folder named Friends and two
sub-folders - Mary and George. Now I only have Friends and Mary on display,
and George is missing. However, Friends.dbx, Mary.dbx and George.dbx are
still in the Outlook Express folder. When I tried to import messages, even
though I had created a "new" George under Friends, there was no George for
me to select to import a single .dbx folder. What can I do to get back all
messages in George.dbx? Thanks.

In Windows Explorer, click on the file and drag it to the Desktop. Open OE
and create a folder with the *exact* same name as the one on your desktop.
***Copy a message from any folder to the new one. You MUST do this.*** Close
OE. Go back to Windows Explorer and Click Desktop and drag the folder from
the Desktop to the OE store folder that you clicked on to reveal the .dbx
files. Prompt - "Do you want to overwrite......."? Click Yes.
