strip out formated messages plugin?
Is there any way to "strip out" sent html messages?
Most of weight is due to images in html messages or attachments.
I saw oex but is a separate application, perhaps is there any way
to make messages take less kb via an oe plugin or any other way.

The only one I know of or would trust is
http://www.oehelp.com/OEX/Default.aspx
There may be others.

The program you cite only strips out the forwarding >>>>'s
This is not what the OP asked.

Its very hard to write an "OE plugin" that doesn't screw up OE, as MS has
little helpful documentation on how to do this. That is why I wrote first
DBXtend (which required the messages to be first extracted) and then later,
OEX, which does not require that. OEX also has other features that are
useful and which MS has refused to add to OE, such as removing duplicates,
saving attachments, resending messages, importing from read-only dbx files,
.. . . .

I understand... it's a pitty since using other program to interact with
email
is uncomfortable. I'd whish that to change in future.
Do you have a demo or trial?

No. It took me over 8 months to figure out how to do that, and it takes
quite a while to dumb down a version that someone can't hack for a trial
version.
If I'd made it an expensive program, then I'd have a trial version.
I'm thinking of writing an advanced version (not freeware) of OETool that
will work with OEX so that some of the OEX functions could be put on the
toolbar of OE, so you wouldn't have to open a separate program to get those
functions, but would only have to click a button and, say, remove duplicates
that way.
cheers,
steve
