Set Margins?

Is there a registry hack that will change the top margin size in Outlook
Express? For some reason a bit of white space has disappeared in my preview
and read panes and the text is crowded against the top of the windows. A
small thing, I know, but annoying just the same. :-)

I'm using OE6 and WinXP sp2 and read all my mail as plain text.

Thanks!

OE uses the Internet Explorer print settings.

"Print Preview Is Blank and You Cannot Print Pages from Internet Explorer".
From Sandi's Site:
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/ie_4.html
"Problems printing".

All print settings for OE are governed by IE including margins.

In IE, File>page setup - I believe the default is 19.05 mm

I appreciate your quick response, but I'm afraid my question wasn't clear
enough. My printer output is fine...it's the message display within OE's GUI
that I wish I could change. In my compose and reply windows, there is about
1/4" of white space at the top of the input window before the first line of
typed text. This padding is not there in my preview pane and 'read message'
windows, so the text is jammed against the top of the window and the first
couple of lines of the message are a little more difficult to read. (The top
of the first line of the email actually touches the top-inside edge of the
output box.) OE had this "blank first line" on my Win98 machine and I was
hoping to get it back on my new XP Home box.

Thanks, guys.

Ah, that's the default of SP2, Bill.
A fair few of us have noticed this, plus other things since installing
SP2.
Does it change when you switch to reading in HTML? I am not at my XP box
just now, so can't remember if it does. I just got used to it being this
way!

Sorry, I guess I should have lurked and/or Googled for a while before
posting...I'm a latecomer to XP and didn't realize I was trodding a
well-worn path with my question. Guess I'll take it like a man and get used
to it like everyone else. ;-)

Thanks for your help, Kath (and Vincenzo).

I'm now back on my XP machine and the "margin" appears when I toggle to
HTML.
