[Joseph R. \(Bob\) Bouvier]

I'm running OE6 on an XP machine. When I save a message from a newsgroup,
the "Save Message As" screen comes up with the View Menu options set at List
and displays the list in **reverse** alphabetic order where before it
appeared in normal alphabetic order. This causes an inconvenience when the
folder has many files since I have to scroll over to the right to find the
subfolder in which I want to save the message. I have not been able to find
a setting in either OE or Windows Explorer that changes this behavior. Where
do I go next? TIA.

In Windows Explorer,
list view,
sort by name, alphabetical order,
Tools, Folder Options, View tab, Apply to all folders.
