Identity Reset on OE Start

When I was running OE6 on Win98se, I ran across a batch file/registry file
merge setup that cleared the previous identity on OE startup and forced the
identity selection window every time I opened OE. I've now (finally)
upgraded to XP SP2 and have tried to adapt the batch/reg files for my new
system, but it only works about half the time now. Does anyone know how to
do this reliably with WinXP and OE6?

Thanks in advance.
