I've been having an attachment labeled "ATT00xxx.htm" where "xxx" is three
different numbers each time, randomly appearing as an attachment to e-mails.
It even shows up on e-mails that I previously opened that did not have it and
now it appeares on the e-mails as an attachment. The size of the attachments
range from a few hundred bytes to as large as 9+kb. It only started
happening a few days ago and when I clicked on one, it opened a blank page.
Does anyone know what ths is and if it's some sort of virus? I've run a scan
using NAV and it shows no viruses. Is this something I need to worry about?

Hi Sandy,

The attachments "ATT000XX.txt or ATT000XX.htm" can occur if the temporary
Internet files need to be cleared (Internet Options Control Panel or from IE
Tools | Internet Options...). Another possibility is Outlook Express is set
to read messages in Plain Text.

If the sender is using HTML and you are reading in plain text, the HTML
will appear as an attachment.
