Bought this computer used. I think the person before me may have messed
with reg so the messenger wouldn't start automatically. How can I check to
see if this is the problem and how can I un-do this?

Thanks

Easiest way for an older computer, is to download the newest version of MSN
Messenger and let it create a shortcut on your Desktop. This link will take
you there:

You can post MSN Messenger queries to this MSN Messenger-specific newsgroup:

microsoft.public.msn.messenger

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.msn.messenger

In your newsreader:

Are you asking about having MSN Messenger start automatically when Outlook
Express is opened?
