A couple of days ago my browser headers in IE6 suddenly began appearing in
Chinese! In Internet Options I only have English selected as a language. I
suspected a virus and I've run multiple spy/malware programs and avast! as
well--I can't find mention of this problem on the net at all. It's very
annoying becasue when pages are minimized I can't tell what's what as I do
not have any understanding of Chinese. Any help greatly appreciated.

Please expand on what you mean by "browser headers". Are you referring to
the Title Bar at the very top of an IE window?

IE Tools > Internet Options > General > Accessibility: Is anything
checked/enabled here? Did you check/enable it?
