Hello - are there any registry tweaks or program that will allow you to
minimize outlook express to the system tray?

Thanks,
Newtechie

You can put it in the Quick Launch next to the start button.

Tom,

I'm not trying to quick start it. I'm trying to minimize it to the tray on
the right.

Thanks.

The USA mother of all tweakers

X-Setup Pro is a so-called "tweaker" program; it allows you to change
settings that are normally hidden deeply in Windows fast and easily. There
are many hidden settings in Windows as well as in a lot of other programs
and normally you can't change them.

Hi Newtechie - If I want to keep OE active I just minimize it to my Tray
using a free third party program called TrayMin which used to be available
from PC Mag which will do this. You can still get it here:
http://pacon.free.fr/traymin.zip Works fine.

It's still available from PC Mag too:

Neat little utility. I've been looking for something like
this. Thanks for pointing it out, Jim.

Traymin dates from January 2000. Is it Windows XP compatible?

Hi guys -

I don't think it works with XP. I've tried minimizing OE and it does not go
to the system tray.

Hi guys - I haven't had occasion to try it with XP, but it works fine with
Win2kSP4, so I'd expect it to probably work OK with XP. Remember that you
need to _right_ click on the - (Minimize) button with TrayMin running to
cause it to minimize to the Tray.

You can also use a free program called "Tray It!" It's a great little
program that definitely works with WinXP, as well as others.
