Hi
When receiving a jpg file, before saving it I look at it. When I double
click the email attachment it comes up with an error: The file does not have
a program associated with it for perfomring this action. Create an
association in the folder options control panel. (In the blue bar at the top
of this error, it has C:/ Documents & Settings/'My Name"/Local
Settings/Temporary Interent Files/Content IE5/udc -thats all I see). Did a
google on this and found a site where I downloaded a patch to fix the jpg
registry. Then I clicked on the jpg file in the email and a new message come
up. This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. MS
Knowledge article 893048 says to get a hotfix - which I did. Once hotfix
done it reverts bact to the first error message.

I have tried reassociating the jpg file in the folder option control panel
with different things but the error still occurs.

When I save the file to the hard drive it automatically loads and opens with
the program I had selected. In this case my Kodak Easyshare Software.
(Digital camera). I want all my pictures to open in this program.

I do recall at one stage deleting the jpg option in the folder option which
I now think has added to the problem and am regretting.

Any help would be great!!!
Jessy Jules
I am running Pentium 4, XP SP2 OE 6 and IE 6. All the latest.
