Please help. I have a computer that is using Earthlink DSL and I can change
the incoming mail server to pop.earthlink.net and it will work until I reboot
the computer then it will default to 127.0.0.1. I've removed and reinstalled
Outlook Express. I removed that address out of the registry. I found and
removed several trojans. I've scanned for viruses and none has been found.

Turn off the option to scan incoming and outgoing mail in your AV software,
it is causing this problem & serves no useful purpose, keep your AV
definitions updated.
