Hi
I have tried Outlook Express Quick Backup (OEQB) and it seems to have worked
well however I am not sure if it has backed up the message rules. Is anyone
familiar with this program ?

OEQB backs up the registry settings and that is where your message rules are
located, so they should be backed up. This will give you an idea.

OE stores the block senders, mail rules, and filters (view) in the
Identities subkey. OEQB will back up that complete subkey thus getting all
the info. It will also backup the Internet Accounts Manager subkeys (those
in the old OE4 location of HKCU\Software\Microsoft and the HKCU\Identities
subkey).
The older OEBackup would allow you to export specific subkeys for an
Identity. Work on OEBackup is in progress and will be back online later this
year. I just haven't had the time to do what I want with it. If I can get
someone to go earn my pay (I work on computers for several companies as well
as a lot of individuals and also build decks and whatever else my wife gets
me involved in, I would use the time to work on OEFB and get it out sooner).
I guess an alternative would be to put OEFB back online as it was. It's
abilities were too numerous to go thru and documentation did lack a bit
(there was references online but no help file) but if convinced, maybe I
might put it back online.
