missing toolbar in opened email

Strange.... all of a sudden.. I open an email and the toolbar is missing.
The toolbar shows in OE itself. It's only missing in an opened email.

In an open email... Select View -> Toolbars -> Standard Buttons. It gets
checked, but the Icons don't show. Close the email and re-open it, and
Standard Buttons is no longer checked.

This is very likely a corrupt identity. Create a new one and test it. If all
is well, you can import your messages from the old ID and delete it.
