POP account problem

I have configured OE to fetch mails from my POP account and I have also
checked an option to keep copy on the server as well. It was working fine
for so many years, but suddenly yesterday, somehow OE lost track of the last
mail fetched, and hence doesn't know which mails to treat as new mails. So
it is trying to get some 1500+ mails which exist for that mailbox. Is there
a way I can configure or tweak OE such that it gets only the mals since
yesterday instead of getting all mails?

The only other option is to delete mails from the mail box which is very
time consuming and I am hoping tat there would be another proper way.

TIA,
- Manish

You need to delete Pop3uidl.dbx with OE closed.
When you next invoke OE, all your mail will be received one more time
(sorry!) and then it should stop. Use the following program to remove
duplicate mail.
