Hello All,

Starting earlier this week, I can no longer access my Hotmail account from
Outlook Express 6 (I'm running XP SP2).

A few months earlier, MSN sent me an email assuring I would still have
access to Hotmail from OE, since I'm a long time user (8+ years). Does
anyone know if this has changed as a matter of policy, or could it be a
software/configuration problem?

The error I get in OE is:

"Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail',
Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol:
HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Redirected', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x80004005"

Creating a new identity always solves this problem.

I beg to differ.

Problems on MSN/Hotmail's end continue (I can't access mine either). Until
they get their act together, access your account at www.hotmail.com.
