is it possible to reset mime types to default?

i get the following error in Firefox when going to www.safeway.com
"Warning: The stylesheet http://shop.safeway.com/stylesheet/safeway.css
was loaded as CSS even though its MIME type, "text/html", is not
"text/css"."

i cannot view http://www.safeway.com in *ANY* browser, not just firefox
which is why i am posting this here.

when i view the CSS extension in folder properties, it says that it
opens with notepad but when i try to change or configure the settings
for CSS, nothing is in the property dialog box.

is there a way to reset all mime types to their default windows xp
values?

The css MIME info seems to be in mshtml.dll.
Try reregistering it:
regsvr32 mshtml
