easily switching between static and dynamic for laptop user

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to easily switch the tcp/ip properties
to go between static and dynamic configuration. I'd like to make this as
simple as possible for the user, and not have them go into the properties
page. I tried hardware profiles but it didn't work.

Thanks,
Bobby

Right click My Network Places, select Properties. Right click the network connection you wish to change and select Properties. Highlight the entry for TCP/IP and click Properties. Here, you can assign an alternate network configuration.

See Help and Support for more information. Search for "alternate network"

Thanks, I'm gonna give this a shot. I'll have the device obtain
automatically, then go to alternate configuration and set this up for their
network.
